Our partners

Brandon Trust would not be able to help make dreams come true, and set young people and adults with learning disabilities free, without the amazing generosity and support of our corporate partners:

"The enthusiasm and dedication from the team at Brandon Trust is infectious and BTR are honoured to be able to support and be a part of their family. Open to new ideas and suggestions, Brandon Trust has also helped take our business forward while working together on fundraising projects. Seeing the results of Brandon Trust’s hard work through how well their beneficiaries are supported make it easy for BTR to continue and want to grow our support."

Creative Glass Guild

"Creative Glass Guild help raise funds for Brandon Trust through their annual 'Beads for Brandon' event in which teams learn how to make glass beads and compete to raise the most money. It’s an Apprentice-style challenge in which the teams use their initiative to make the beads into jewellery, bookmarks and anything they can think of in order to sell them. Creative Glass Guild also sponsors the charity through events such as their Summer and Winter fairs."

Wildplace Project Logo
Wild Place Project

"The Wild Place Project is Bristol’s newest wildlife attraction which encourages visitors to get outside and experience the adventure of the great outdoors whilst visiting a range of wildlife from around the world. Brandon Trust supports those with learning difficulties by providing freedom and opportunities, so when we learned that the charity was looking to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a big day out, we wanted to show our support. On the 20th anniversary over 150 people from Brandon Trust celebrated by visiting the Wild Place Project for a fun-filled day out, where they saw zebras, lemurs and wolves. Brandon Trust is a wonderful and heart-warming charity that supports and enables people to live the lives they choose. It is fantastic that the people they support have access to community activity and are encouraged to make their own choices without fear or barriers. We were delighted to have the opportunity to work together."

Burges Salmon

Burges Salmon

"Burges Salmon first established links with Brandon Trust in 2011 with the relationship growing from strength to strength, so much so, that they have become one of our main community partners. We were honoured to receive Brandon's 'Community Partnership Award' in November 2012.

Brandon Trust have been excellent in providing us with a variety of team volunteering opportunities. We realise it is not always easy to accommodate large groups of volunteers but to date we have been able to complete over 20 indoor renovating and outdoor gardening projects. In addition to providing volunteers and funding for these projects we have undertaken pro bono legal work and offered various support in-kind, such as donating furniture and meeting room space.

We were also very pleased with the appointment of one of our Partners to Brandon Trust’s Board of Trustees in 2013. Clive Pugh, CR Partner: “The relationship we have developed with Brandon Trust epitomises what Burges Salmon’s CR programme is trying to achieve: creating long-standing and sustainable links with community partners and using our skills and assets to support them as best we can. We look forward to continuing our relationship and supporting Brandon Trust’s fantastic work. It truly is a remarkable charity."
