Our beneficiaries are extraordinary people living ordinary lives. They might be children, young people, adults or the elderly. They may have moderate learning disabilities or require a high level of support.
Whichever the case, Brandon Trust is committed to supporting people with learning disabilities to live the lives they choose. We involve individuals in creating original support options so that each person has a unique future built around their particular aspirations. In turn, their belief in themselves as citizens is enabling them to make real contributions to community life.
Brandon is full of stories about individuals. The reason we tell these stories about real people we support is to show that they can live fulfilled, positive lives. These are people who are included in their local communities; true citizens. We are proud of them. More importantly, citizenship is what rightfully belongs to all adults with learning disabilities, and is now finally coming to pass in the 21st century.
