Open Farm Sunday
Tuesday 12 May 2015
Our Stapleton-based Elm Tree Farm project is opening its gates for a fantastic family fun day on Sunday, 7 June, and everyone's invited.
It’s free entry, so come and take a walk around the working farm and meet all our animals including pigs, horses, cows, chickens and lambs.
Visitors of all ages will also have the chance to create bug hotels, vegetable models and enjoy the animal petting area, while the on-site nursery will be selling plants for your garden and there will be an all-day barbecue.
Our friendly staff will be on hand to answer any questions about how the project runs.
Elm Tree Farm Project Coordinator Keily Elvin said: "We’ve built on the success of last year’s Open Farm Sunday event with more activities. We look forward to welcoming local families to our working farm to discover what’s here on the edge of Bristol."
The farm, located on Park Road in Stapleton (BS16 1AA) next to the cricket ground, will be open to visitors from 11am-4pm. There is parking on-site and entry is free as part of the national Open Farm Sunday scheme.
